According to Health Canada, a safe humidity range for a home is 30% to 50% (other countries may vary). Outside this range can encourage mold growth, mites, dry skin, respiratory infections, and damage to wooden furniture and flooring.

The outdoor temperature and relative humidity, is required for this indoor relative humidity calculator app to function. The free version currently requires this data to be manually inserted by you.

An upgrade can be purchased, however, within the app that automatically populates the outdoor temperature and relative humidity for you at the press of a button. This data is provided by Google and is updated every 4 hours or less.
