Pittwater Weather Alerts

This app provides you with alert notifications for rain, wind, high and low temperatures from the four Pittwater weather stations. The alerts are based on the nearest weather observation that meets your pre-set criteria. The app checks the weather every 10 minutes.
The location of your phone is used to calculate the displayed distances. If your phone's location settings aren't active then Sydney CBD will be used as a default.
To set the temperature alerts, move the high or low temperature toggle. For example high alerts will be triggered for a temperature reading that is above your setting. Low temperature and high wind alerts can also be set. Alerts can be turned off using the switch setting.
Chime and vibrate options are available to signal when a new notification alert arrives. These should also be enabled in your main phone settings to ensure they work.
To avoid getting alerts that aren't of interest, simply move the applicable toggle to the extreme end of its seekbar. For example, low temperature alerts can be avoided by moving the toggle to 0 degrees Celsius.
Alerts will only be triggered if the phone has a connection to the internet.
No alerts will occur overnight (ie. from 11pm to 6am the following day).
