Are you an aurora watcher (aurora borealis / aurora australis / northern lights / southern lights) ? This app is ideal for you. It provides all data that you need to catch such awesome view (except cloud covarage).

Current probability to see aurora overhead at your location.

Forecasts for next 3 days and next 27 days helps you to plan the right time for your aurora trip.
Image of north and south hemisphere shows areas where northern and southern lights are visible now.

Notifications / alerts inform you about current aurora activity and and aurora forecast. You can turn on/off notifications in application settings.

NOTE: This application requests your location (not exact, but just approximate location) to provide better service to you (current probability to see aurora overhead, more satisfied notifications etc).
But if you do not want to allow access to your location, please install Aurora Monitor NoLocation app. Which is also available in the store. Aurora Monitor NoLocation app is the same app as this one, the only difference is that it does not use your location
