eHistory

An interactive game that focuses in Philippine History from ancient era to the modern period. It helps user to learn and gather additional knowledge about Philippine History. This game application aimed not just to entertain the user but to encourage him/her to learn more and review about the history of the Philippines. The game featured events from Pre-Spanish, Spanish, American, Japanese and modern era.


Game play mode:
The player must collect all the hints in each game level during the game play. Those hints were Philippine History-related things presented through images. All hints contained trivia which could be viewed through a simple inventory. There would only be allowed a limited time to consume during the game play but it would extend every time the player would hit the hints in the game. The game also contained an obstacle, a thing that blocks one’s way or prevents or hinders progress, for example: thorns, rocks, wild animals and such. If the player lost life or the time was already consumed, the game would be over but the player would be given the privilege to restart the current level he/she is playing.


Quiz mode:
To complete the stage, the player would be given a series of multiple-choice type of question and they must get eighty percent rating. The player must successfully complete the current level in order to proceed to the next level of the game.


eBooks:
In this game, the player would be able to buy different eBooks - an electronic version of a printed book that could be read on a computer or handheld device - with a different price through the gained points during the game. Those eBooks would provide more additional knowledge about the history of the Philippines.
