With no user input, the app automatically finds the closest Environment Canada weather station and relays the conditions and forecast to wherever you are in Canada. So long as you have GPS service it'll work. Slow, but it'll work. Valid in 861 towns, cities and villiages in Canada, from:

Nakusp British Columbia to
Makkovik Labrador to
St. Catharines Ontario. Once your phone is connected to enough satellites on the GPS network, it takes a couple minutes for the app to scan everywhere in Canada to find the closest weather station and download the most recent forecast and current conditions for your location.
